Impact

Do we impact one another?

Is there cause and effect?

I wonder not, this Sunday morn,

As idea manifests.

Linear mind narrates a tale:

“I did this because of that

And if it weren’t for this and this

I would not be where I’m at…”

But this, we know, is non-sense,

For impact nor effect is not what we sense,

When we are here

In a state of thoughtlessness.

We sense instead,

Thing, being.

We sense instead,

What is, is-ing.

Then - now - simultaneously,

Comes unto us all suddenly,

Moves through us spontaneously,

A word, a vision, an action, anew,

”Because of this?

Because of that?

Because of me?

Because of you?”

Explanations, great narrations, sensical justifications

Matter only to the nattering mind!

For composing why or how Now be,

Does not aid in our ability

To be with what be

Now, in its purity.

We, in total Now-ness;

An experience free of divide,

Are unimpacted, unaffected;

We are at one with life.
