Growth

You are not a growing thing,

Nor the one causing growth to occur.

There is no growth happening, actually.

But, only ever

This, now.

Growth is but a concept,

Born of comparison and memory;

We can not experience growth,

Nor can the flower and tree.
Mind is required for growth to be,

When experiencing only requires me.

In consciousness, I see whatever I see

Happening spontaneously.

It is complete, it is uncaused,
It is not mine to claim for reproval nor reward.

What is, is here,
That is all.

You are either free now or you are not.

What relevance is growth?

Disengage with the ego-mind
And let the journey cease.

Instead of seeking growth,

Experience peace.
