Fear
Fear looks a lot like ignoring,
Fear looks a lot like complaining,
Fear looks a lot like boasting,
Fear looks a lot like blaming,
Fear looks a lot like undermining,
Fear looks a lot like demanding,
Fear looks a lot like judging,
Fear looks a lot like reprimanding,
Fear looks a lot like gloating,
Fear looks a lot like defending,
Fear looks a lot like goading,
Yet it’s all simply Fear, pretending.
When you notice fear
In another person,
Offer your attention,
Instead of your aversion.
For those who fear are disconnected
From who they truly be,
Identified with ego, all-punishing,
So scared that they cannot concede.
Only Love can remind them,
Not judgement of their fear, disguised,
So be what you know is needed to
Remind them of who you both are inside.
