En-Lightening
And as we want for
Words to come,
Ideas to flow,
Pain to go,
We suffer resistance to what is so.
And as we will for
”Me” to mend,
Feeling to flee,
Them to see,
We suffer resistance to what be.
And as we worry
We might lose,
They might leave,
Things might rot,
We suffer resistance to what is not.
And as we wish we
Didn’t want,
Didn’t will,
Didn’t worry,
Didn’t wish,
We suffer resistance to what is.
And then
An opening arises.
And as we witness
What is thought,
What is dreamt up,
What is dread,
We suffer not, but smile instead.
For we can see,
That these thoughts
Are not who we are, are not truthful nor real.
They’re thoughts, simply being;
Not a big deal.
And so we suffer not, but heal.
And as we return
To the now,
To the silence
To the knowing that all experience
Can be amusing and adored,
We return to ourselves,
And suffer no more.
