Acceptance

15.02.25

Removing the concept of "acceptance" from the repertoire. It no longer appears as an experience of connection, but a mental doing of something - an exertion of effort - a putting something on top of something else - a barrier.

One does not "accept" the sky, the grass, the sunshine... They are just there, in the awareness.

If, in the awareness, there is a sensation in the body, or, a memory of an unconscious action taken, then "I" do not "need" to "accept" that they are there, in order to connect. The noticing that they are there is connecting.

If the mind blames, personalises, attempts to justify what is there, then, once again, acceptance is not required, but, awareness of the mind's propensity to blame, personalise, justify - which can be humorous to observe.

In awareness, all that is is what is. Acceptance is no longer relevant.
